Brief Description
In 2021, the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa promulgated the Domestic Violence against Women (Prevention and Protection) Act, together with its implementing Rules, to provide enhanced protection and preventive measures for women facing domestic violence. The Act strengthens the legal framework for responding to domestic violence and supports the rights and safety of women in the province.
